Mark P. Miller
Mark Miller is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology at Utah State University. His research interests include topics such as spatial evolution, population genetics, phylogeography, conservation genetics, computational biology, and genetic data analysis. He has published studies on a wide variety of organisms including insects, snails, fish, amphibians, birds, isopods, and mammals. Some of his current research projects include
- evaluating the taxonomic status of the endangered Kanab ambersnail,
- identification of genetic markers associated with Whirling Disease resistance in rainbow trout, and
- use of computer simulations to explore properties of statistical procedures used in conjunction with genetic data analyses.
