Tiago Antao is a PhD student at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. His main interests are
  1. Population genetics of drug resistant malaria (P. falciparum)
  2. Population genetics applied to conservation and restoration of biodversity
  3. Computational aspects of population genetics data analysis
  4. Declarative programming and DSLs applied to biological problems
He is the author of the Population Genetics module of the popular Biopython software suite.
